It's weird... Every time I hear this song in my tunes-library I get a "tear in my eye". Is it because I feel a hidden sadness of "what could've been..." ?? I mean, the song is not a "sad song", is it? : ) I really feel a bit sad how the music took its curve, around this time. I would imagine that the MONEY involved had gotten so big, that THEY ruled the development now... instead of urging new acts that worked hard to become the new singing or playing stars. From about this time, there were only products left to be sold. Not artists, as it was before. (with some rare exceptions, of course).

This song has it all, from "the good old days":
1. A swinging (positive) beat - that makes you want to dance! (no attitude involved!)
2. Niiice big orchestration! Strings and horns !! REAL players involved here! ;-)
3. If you know what harmonic-development means, there is some simple, but effective stuff here too...
4. As silly as the vocals are; they GLOW with "realness" ! Someone is actually SINGING this stuff. WITHOUT pitch-correction.

Maaan. I really hope things will turn in to better ways soon...
